RESPONSIBILITIES
The Training and Communications Specialist will support a team of Information Security professionals who provide technical support services to an international U.S. Government client.
As a member of an agency's computer security team, the specialist will be primarily responsible for developing and delivering training, providing program management support, supporting a small help desk, and helping with a vulnerability management program.
Specifically, the specialist will deliver computer security training in a classroom environment and will help to edit and refine training content. Additionally, the specialist will manage a help desk by responding to emails and by tracking and managing all ad hoc requests.
Program Management support will include supporting the program manager's reporting, invoicing, purchasing, and various other administrative tasks.
The specialist will also support the program's vulnerability management program by producing reports, performing user account administration and responding to inquiries relating to the program.
Familiarity with the computer security field.
Strong Interpersonal and training skills. Strong writing skills.
Must have a four year baccalaureate college degree.
Ability to obtain and hold a Secret Clearance.
DESIRED
Security industry certs a plus.
You should be very organized and have a strong interest in and aptitude for working with computer security concepts and technologies.
